Silt Fence

Silt fence is a very effective way to prevent erosion control. Silt fence is a control that reduces silt by blocking the flow by a fabric (woven or nonwoven) wall. The fabric is plowed 1 foot into the ground and compacted to provide a ground to fabric seal. The other 2 or 3 feet are erected by stapling or zip tying the fabric to wood or steel posts.
